IQC v4.4.0 is released

Primary Enhancements to IQ Coordinator

IQ Coordinator v4.4 is primarily focused on general system improvements based on general client requests.

High-level features for IQC v4.4:

Here is a list of changes you will see in the 4.4 upgrade:

System Wide
IQ Now Remembers Your Searches after Logout – whatever you last searched on will still be there after you logout and log back in. If you have two sessions open at the same time, the session that you logout of last will be the one that IQ remembers.

Customer-less Templates Now Allow Specific Participants – for example, it is now possible to create an Order Template that has the Salesperson set to always be the [Current User], but the Project Manager set specifically to “Scott Jamison”

Ability to Control Which Tabs Display and the Sequence in which they Display – you determine this in the Record Type. This already existed for Orders, and now we just made it exist for Projects, Assets, Tasks, and Opportunities.

Improved Droplist Visibility – when looking at a droplist of Companies, the dropdown part now expands out to the right so that you can read the names better

Improved Usability of Company and Person Search/Droplist Controls – if you search on “Beth”, and only one company or person comes up, that company or person is automatically chosen for you

Participants Now Listed with Phone Number instead of Job Title – since you need this information more readily than their job titles

Added Overview Option to Display Business Name – so that you can turn it off, since this is probably redundant with your letterheads at the top

Added Accounting ID to Customer Names on More Lists – if you use the setting to prepend the accounting id before customer names (Hedberg users), this will also now apply to customer names in record lists

Form Field URLs – if the text in the answer of a form field answer has link in it, the link will now be recognized by IQ and become clickable

Added Permission to Access “Type” Droplist – for those that need to restrict it, it can not be restricted on each kind of record

The “Expand Trees to x Level” Setting is Now Honored in More Places – such as in Product Catalogs, Service Catalogs, and in the Order on the Products and Services Tabs (when in the “Add Multiple” mode)

Actions
Calendar Auto-Scrolling – in the event you have an Action early in the morning, the screen will snap to the earliest action in the view you are seeing

Added a Popup for the Action Notes – since you can sometimes have some really long notes

Added “[x] Timesheet” to Action Types – so you can default certain types of Actions to be set up to flash-add to your time sheets

Changed Action Notification Subject – to “ has created/edited an Action on which you are a Participant”

Fixed Action Notification Notes – it wasn’t honoring carriage returns
Save & Schedule Next Now Also Moves Due Date – by the same interval that it does for start and end

Added Customer and Customer Client Search to Actions – they’re now in the advanced search of the Actions module

Documents
Added the Ability to Delete (not just unassociate) Documents from a Documents Tab – this is now possible, except if the Document is tied to another record elsewhere in the system (in that case, it just unassociates it the record you are editing)
Allow Document Unassociation from within a Document Itself – so you can unlink a document from the various records it is tied from the document’s perspective

Inventory --- NEW!
IQ Now Has an Inventory Management Module – to keep track of items in your warehouse as well as your customers’ inventories
- Contact The IQ Group at 913-722-6700 for more information.

Opportunities
Added Numbers to Opportunities – so that they would have numbers like all of the other records (Projects, Orders, Tasks, etc.)

Added Status Field to Information Tab – for those that don’t use Forecasting

Orders
Added Customizable “Preface” Tab to Main Records – this is a brand new tab that provides a Microsoft Word-like editor for you to build custom-styled, design-sensitive sections to your overview, complete with the ability to build tables, insert images, links, flash, and a robust set of textual styling tools. This is useful for those of you that want to be more presentation-sensitive to your customers.

Overhauled the Task Tab Popups – these were formerly Task-centric, but we now have made them Task Rate-centric, so that information about both the Task as well as the Task Rate can be modified. More importantly, this now facilitates:

The Easy Deletion of Task Rates – which was formerly mysterious and cumbersome as it required you to have access to the Sell view and to zero out the quantities and then click the “delete zero lines” icon

The Copying of Task Rates – for the cases where you want to copy everything you had for “Installation – STD” and make a complimentary “Installation – OT” Task Rate line

Improved Ability to Add Services on the Services Tab – now there is a quantity box in the top yellow section that defaults the quantity for each service you check to be added to the Order. Also, when you pick services, the Rate droplist in the top yellow section defaults a new Rate droplist that now appears next to each quantity box when you check a service

New Template Default for Order Addresses – you can now build an Order Template that defaults one of the addresses to the “User’s Primary Address”

Added Quickbooks and TeamDesign Icons to Dashboard – for easier access for those that want to use these exports from the “Home” screen

Added an Asset Section to the Order Overview – it has most of what is on the Asset Overview

Added a “Save and Build Recurring Orders” Button – so that you can build the recurring orders immediately instead of having to wait for our maintenance script to run at midnight

Added Option to Display Estimated Hours to Lines Section on Overview – so that you can view the Estimated Hours on each Task

Added “Cut Zero Qty Lines” Icon to all 3 Pricing Views – for convenience

Quickbooks Rollup – IQ no longer exports empty groups to Quickbooks

Added Permission to “Access Integration Tab” – to restrict certain users from accessing Integration-date on Orders

Allow Formula Hours to be Zero – if you enter a zero on the Service Information Tab’s “Total Hours is 1 Hour per [ 0] Product Dollars”, then the formula line now always calculates a zero time

Overview Option to Display Quoted Hours in Task Hours Section – so you can hide the Quoted Hours column, because the field people probably shouldn’t see it

Added a Permission for Quoted Price Rule – to remove the option called “Hourly, Equal to Quoted Hours” if you or others don’t (or shouldn’t) use it

Added More Formula Rules – we now added these new options to Formula Lines:
Sell based on Total [Task Type] Sell
Sell based on Total [Task Type] Cost
Sell based on Total [Task Type] Est. Job Cost

Expanded People in Participant Lists for Vendors Roles – in Order, there can be many vendors on an order, so when IQ gives them a list of potential people for a Role, we include people not only from the Primary Vendor, but from all of the other vendors in the Order

Projects
Added a CPO# to Project – for those that need it

Added an “Are you sure?” JS Confirm Box on Task Deletion – just to give you a sanity check before doing such a drastic thing

Added Gantt Start and End Dates to Project Information Tab – just so you readily have the beginning and end of the project

Added Single-Page and Multi-Page Gantt Chart Printing – there are now two icons on the Gantt Chart to do so

Added a Status Column to Associations Tab – to be more informative as to where the Orders and Tasks are at

Added Gantt # to Associations Tab – to serve as a mental reference to what is on the Gantt Tab

Added a Notes Tab for Projects – so that you have the same note-like fields that Order has

Added Option to Gross Profit Section on Project Overview – to turn on or off '$0 Cost Tasks'

Added Gantt Start and Gantt End to Reminders – so that Project or Task reminders can be based off of the Gantt Dates, if so desired

Relationships
Added User Properties Filters to Person Advanced Search – added [x] Is a User, [x] Is a Salesperson, [x] Books Time, and [x] Is Scheduled

Added a Person Section to the Company Overview – displaying fields like Title, First Name, M.I., Last Name, Suffix, Primary Address, Division, Job Title, Department, Accounting ID, Email, and Phone Numbers

Reports
Added Font Size Adjuster to Reports – for those that want to make the font size of the whole report bigger or smaller

Improved Report Column Widths – now if a column’s data ends up being really long (such as a very long name), we wrap it when it reaches 200 pixels. We also now wrap notes at 600 pixels.

Added the Task’s Due Date as a Group – on the Task Report

Added Order Roles as Columns – to both the Time Block and Task Rate reports

Added Booked Billable Column to Labor Recovery Report – this column is Billable Hours / Booked Hours

Added Production Rate Column to Labor Recovery Report – this will be Billable Hours / (Total Booked Hours – PTO Hours)

Added “Productive” Rule Setting – this is similar to the Billable Rule in Time Manager, but it uses the costs on the various records that time is tied to in order to determine if the time block was considered productive or not

Schedule
Fixed the Nudge Not Honoring One-Day or 4-Week View – now it nudges by 1 day or 4 weeks, depending on the view you’re on

Added to Task Type Query – so a scheduler can see everything that is going on at once

Added Schedule Notes to Capacity View’s Hover-over Boxes – for informativeness
Fixed Soft-Schedule Conversion Ignoring of Break Preference – doh!

Added Options to Schedule Section on Order Overview – added options to control the display of each of the columns in this section

Improved Schedule Notifications – now the current user is emailed as well, so they can see what was sent out to the scheduler. Also included is a list of all the users that got emailed so everyone knows who knows, you know?

Color the Capacity Screen - so that it is colored just like the Schedule View

Task
Made Due Date Always Editable – even if it is tied to an Order or Project

Split Out “Set Tasks to this Status” Status Flag – the flag “[x] Set Tasks to this Status when created inside Orders or Projects” has now been split out into one for Orders and one for Projects

Added Gantt Start and End Dates to Information Tab – for informativeness

Added Ability to Always Change Completion % and Complete Date – if you do this and it is tied to an Order or Project, it will update them as well

Time
Flash Add Writes Start and End Time to the Notes Field – when flash-adding time blocks from Actions, the start and end time of the Action is written into the notes
