The IQ Group Offers Group Pilot Program

Terms for IQ Coordinator v4 Pilot Program are released

March 27th, 2009 --- Olathe, KS

The IQ Group has, at the request of prospective customers, released a formal Pilot Program that is intended to allow a group of representative companies to evaluate IQ Coordinator with functioning, dedicated instances of IQ Coordinator. At the end of the Pilot, participating companies can retain all of the information they have created to speed up their company's adoption of the system.

"'Free Trial' programs sound appealing to companies and can work when the software is a simple point-solution, but what companies really need when they are evaluating a true business system is the ability to evaluate the system with the guidance of a trained implementation consultant", said Sean Clouse, president of The IQ Group. "Our Pilot Program provides an avenue for a group of companies to come to the table with a minimal investment and completely customize their own copies of IQ Coordinator with the assistance of our skilled staff. At the end of the Pilot, the Pilot Companies get to retain their efforts and share them with affiliate companies. It's truly a win-win."

Following are the terms of the Pilot Program

Pilot Program Objective
The Pilot Program Objective is to allow a small group of companies to determine the viability of IQ Coordinator for a larger group of affiliated companies.

Pilot Program Group Size
The maximum number of companies that can participate in a Pilot Program is 5.

Pilot Program Representative
Though the Pilot Group will consist of up to 5 individual companies, the group must designate a primary contact that will represent the group in all standard communications between The IQ Group and the Pilot Group.

Pilot Program Benefits
Pilot Companies benefits from the Pilot Program because they are allowed to personally use the system and implement their personal data at a reduced rate.

The affiliated group of companies benefit because they can act on the advice of non-biased companies that have used the system and understand their industry.

The affiliated group of companies also benefits from the option to inherit a 'template' of data from one of the Pilot Group Companies, minimizing their implementation efforts.

Pilot Companies receive IQ consulting and support during the Pilot Program at a rate of $50/hr; reduced from the standard $125/hr.

Implementation costs for IQ Coordinator will be shared across the Pilot Group where applicable. This savings will vary from company to company, but could result in a savings of up to $3,000 per Pilot Company.

Pilot Program Software Subscription License and Service Agreement
All Pilot Companies will sign an individual “Software Subscription License and Service Agreement” (SSLSA). The term of the SSLSA will only be for Phase 1 of the Pilot Program. The SSLSA will automatically extend into Phase 2 on a monthly basis until 1) the Pilot Company terminates its SSLSA and their participation in the Pilot Program, or 2) the Pilot Program ends and the Pilot Company moves into standard usage of IQ Coordinator.

Pilot Program Duration and Concurrent User Seats
All Pilot Companies must participate in the Pilot Program at the same time.

No 'staggered start' is allowed.

The Pilot Program is offered in 1 or 2 Phases.

Phase 1 is for 3 months and will include 3 Concurrent User Seats.

Phase 2, if requested, is for 3 months and will also include 3 Concurrent User Seats.

The number of Concurrent User Seats is fixed at 3 during the Pilot Program. If a Pilot Company wishes to increase the number of Concurrent User Seats beyond the 3, they must leave the Pilot Program and move to a standard SSLSA.

Pilot Program Subscription Pricing
Pilot Companies can choose any configuration of IQ Coordinator they desire. See Addendum A for pricing examples.

During Phase 1, each Pilot Company shall pay for 1 Concurrent User Seat of the chosen configuration.

During Phase 2, each Pilot Company shall pay for 2 Concurrent User Seats of the chosen configuration.

Subscriptions shall be paid in advance at the start of each month.

Modules can be added at any time. Modules can be removed at the end of a Phase or when the Pilot Company signs a standard SSLSA.

Pilot Program Consulting Fees
Consulting Fees for implementation support, training, consulting or any other general service shall be provided at a reduced rate for the Pilot Group. The fee shall be $50/hour for all services provided by The IQ Group. Pilot Companies shall pay 1 day of consulting ($400US) at the start of the Pilot Program along with their first month's subscription fee. Subsequent support shall be paid in advance at amounts determined by the Pilot Company on an as-need basis.
Pilot Companies will share equally in the consulting time that applies to all Pilot Companies, i.e. changes are requested by the Pilot Group that require 2.5 total consulting hours. Each of the 5 Pilot Companies would pay .5 hour.

Consulting time will be tracked on a per Pilot Company basis. Details of time are available upon request.

Pilot Program Template Modifications
It is likely that modifications will be made to data templates through the suggestions of the Pilot Group. The Pilot Group understands that all templates are the property of The IQ Group and modifications to those templates to not constitute ownership or any other claim to compensation by any Pilot Company or the Pilot Group itself.

Pilot Program Communications
A representative for each Pilot Company shall participate in a periodic conference call. The minimum recurrence of the conference call will be monthly, but can be bi-weekly or weekly if the Pilot Group deems it appropriate.

Pilot Program Go-Live
If any Pilot Company decides to adopt IQ Coordinator during or after the Pilot Program, they will then have the option to change their SSLSA to include any modules and any number of Concurrent User Seats. Their relationship with The IQ Group will then become autonomous and independent of the Pilot Group.
Upon moving to a standard subscription, each Pilot Company will purchase any data templates provided by The IQ Group.

Pilot Program Endorsement
Should a Pilot Company choose to adopt IQ Coordinator after their Pilot Program is complete, their representative shall provide a 1 to 2 sentence endorsement of IQ Coordinator within 1 week of signing their standard SSLSA. The IQ Group shall have permission to use the endorsement in marketing communications as seen fit by The IQ Group.

Pilot Program Affiliate Agreement
If, at any time, an agreement is signed between The IQ Group and a representative entity of the Pilot Group (I.e. a common manufacturer), those Pilot Companies with signed SSLSAs shall be permitted to replace their individual SSLSAs with one reflective of the affiliate agreement.

Addendum A – Pilot Pricing
Pilot Companies may configure their copy of IQ Coordinator in any way they choose. Below are 3 example configurations. You may download the Subscription Calculator and run your own scenarios from http://www.TheIQGroup.com under the IQ Coordinator section at the link called “IQC Pricing”

As stated in the “Pilot Program Subscription Pricing” section above, Phase 1 pricing provides 3 Concurrent Seats for the price of 1. Phase 2 pricing provides 3 Concurrent Seats for the price of 2, so the examples below would double in a Phase 2 pricing scenario.

Note that the examples below show “Implementation Hours”. These are standard estimated hours for individual implementations of IQ Coordinator. Pilot Companies will share in these costs and the hours will be greatly reduced as edits to the databases will often be done at the same time for all copies.

Also note that volume discounts of approximately 10% / 20% / 30% apply to IQ Subscriptions once a standard subscription meets the 3 / 5 / 10 Concurrent User Seat levels respectively.
